International Collegium of Lawyers is an organization that provides expert opinion in the field of law, as well as a person's belonging to a social group persecuted in the territory of the former post-Soviet countries, such as Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, etc.

Our expert opinion regarding human rights violations, procedural violations, as well as other violations committed by the authorities during the criminal investigations, or expert evaluation of a person's belonging to a persecuted social group can be a feasible additional argument for strengthening the defense line, if you currently counsel clients from former post-Soviet countries in extradition proceedings or the processes of claiming refugee status/additional protection. Collegium experts have extensive experience of acting as an expert witness directly in litigation, which in more than 90% of cases becomes a feasible argument in favor of defense. The Collegium is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. Most of our experts are lawyers, attorneys, practicing in different European countries, but at the same time having extensive experience in developing expert opinions for the countries of the former Soviet Union. They graduated from educational institutions there and know the peculiarities of legislation and functioning of the legal and political systems of post-Soviet countries.
